It was great meeting you and your staff during our site visit. I have been in many transitional homes the past few years and, by far, your home immediately exudes love and caring. From the smell of Grandma Cole's brownies to the smiles and laughter on everyone's faces, the atmosphere is unmistakably welcoming.

I want to give Crossroads some positive feedback from our foster parents who have youth in your "Just for You" program. During conversations about the youths' progress and goals, all of my foster parents have been bragging about the good work that Juanita Henry does with these kids. She is well invested and dedicated to the work she does with the youth. One foster mother went as far as to say that she considered Juanita to be "the greatest mentor that ever existed". I have even noticed the transition in these youth and their positive attitude. I also received a call from a therapist and she was happy with the transition the youth have made in a short period of time. This type of dedication and hard work helps caseworkers maintain a balance with our youth. I wanted to share this with you.

When my son first entered Crossroads, we were not sure what path he was going to take - positive or negative. Thankfully, he has taken the positive path towards success. J. is a very complex young man, and was certainly not thrilled to be living in a group home. In a short period of time his father and I saw a very different person. J. started college full-time, figured out the public transportation system, obtained an excellent job on campus and started to grow up. Crossroads was an excellent transition for J. when he truly needed it. He leaned on staff when he needed help (or an ear) and tried to figure out how to live with other people. Josh grew in many ways, and in 12 months time he blossomed and matured.
Thanks to the staff like Darlene and LaVonne, J. is on a positive path to a very bright future.

Thank you so much for letting me be a part of Crossroads' very special event... I felt very honored to be an honorary 'ringmaster' because Crossroads is very special to me. Thank you again for all that you do.

Crossroads is making a difference for youth at risk. Without Crossroads, hundreds of kids would be at greater risk than they are today. We believe in it and support the organization enthusiastically and without reservation.
