Corporate Giving

Corporate giving, also known as corporate philanthropy, refers to the act of for-profit companies donating some of their profits or resources to Crossroads.

Cash donations may be made from the company directly, or through a separate, company-sponsored foundation or public charity.

Corporations may also provide in-kind support, like donated goods, services, use of corporate facilities, and access to staff expertise.

Sponsorships for events and programs are critical. A sponsorship can be either financial or in-kind operational support, involving the corporate partner offering the support and the nonprofit offering recognition.

Employee matching gifts programs are increasingly common vehicles for giving. By taking advantage of a company's matching gift program you can generate an additional gift that can double your own contribution. To make a matching gift check with your company's human resources department to find out about its policy and follow their procedure.

Please contact Julie Carleton if your company would like to be part of Crossroads' corporate giving partnerships.
