Host a Fundraising Event
There are endless ways you can volunteer to help Crossroads to raise money, here are just a few. If you would like to participate in a fundraising event for Crossroads contact Julie Carleton.
Garage Sale. Ask all of your friends and neighbors to participate by donating items for sale.
Bake Sale. Bake cookies, cupcakes, or any item that appeals to you and hold a bake sale at your school or business. Ask all of your friends to participate by donating items as well.
Web-based auction. Get friends and family to donate things for you to sell on an internet auction site.
Car Wash. Hold a car wash – either in your neighborhood, at your place of worship, or at your place of business.
Super Change Jar. Ask all of your friends and family to put aside their spare change to be added to the super change jar.
Delegate. Give 10 friends 10 donation forms and ask them to get donations for you.
Corporate Matching. Take advantage of corporate matching gifts programs. You may work for a company that has a program like this – your personal donation could double simply by filling out a form from your Human Resources department. Share this information with family and friends – spread the word!
