"Crossroads means a lot to me because they helped me when no one else did. They changed my life and helped me grow into a great mother and a beautiful person."
These sentiments were shared with us recently by a Capable Adolescent Mothers program teen mother - "...when no one else did." These few words epitomize what Crossroads stands for. Our expertise is in serving adolescents without families, or other support systems. What we teach this vulnerable and often overlooked population now, will impact the rest of their lives.
Your support is what enables the Crossroads staff to provide southern New Jersey's at-risk young people with the skills, training, mentoring and other resources they need in order to transition into a healthy and productive adulthood.
You can help as a volunteer – be a mentor, share a skill or assist with fundraising.
You can help financially. State funding allows us to provide youth with clean and safe housing, as well as basic nutrition and clothing. YOUR donations make the difference between merely providing our kids with an existence, and providing them a home, with recreation, positive lifestyle activities,
The critical support of individuals, civic groups, houses of worship, businesses and corporations make it possible for Crossroads to continue to meet the urgent needs of area youth. You can help in the way that is most convenient for you. Crossroads accepts, cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and gifts of stock. When considering your estate planning, you may also want to consider making a tax saving planned gift to Crossroads Programs.
