Grant funding supports residential care for our kids, including staff supervision, nutrition, and basic clothing.
Support from the community allows us to enhance our homes & vehicles and provide extras for our kids, including recreational opportunities, sporting activities, school events (such as plays and proms), birthday celebrations, and educational supplies.
In the past year, individual, business, corporate and foundation support made it possible for:
- Renovation work on all of our homes and facilities.
- Life skills educational materials (self-esteem building, personal hygiene, anger management, infant care and more) in both English and Spanish.
- Replace an outdated electrical system at the Capable Adolescent Mothers program.
- Special training in CPR for teen mothers.
- New computers for youth and for staff.
- An annual summer picnic for the all youth.
- All of our youth to have new winter coats.
- Family-style holiday celebrations in all programs.
- All youth to receive very special holiday gifts.
- And so much more!
